Official description
Solicitation #8948-0-2021/AM. Issued by Purchasing. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to obtain a contractor that is qualified and capable to conduct underwater ship husbandry tasks on the Battleship Wisconsin on an as needed basis, which shall include underwater inspections, maintenance, and repairs. The purpose of this RFP is to ensure the watertight integrity of the ship’s hull and to conduct such maintenance as will permit deferral of the requirement for dry-docking as long as possible. The City of Norfolk (the “City”) invites all qualified Offerors to respond to this RFP by submitting a proposal consistent with its terms and conditions.
