Stormwater ditch, BMP, and outfall maintenance

Solicitation #24063. Issued by Public Works. This project consists of repairs to stormwater infrastructure such as ditches, BMPs, and outfalls for small to medium scale projects. Projects range from emergency repairs and maintenance, minor flooding issues, and smaller CIP projects. PRIMARY/SECONDARY CONTRACTOR: The agreement resulting from this solicitation will be awarded to a Primary and a Secondary Contractor. The Primary Contractor will be responsible for performing all preventive maintenance tasks specified herein and will be the primary contractor for performance of all repairs. The Secondary Contractor may be engaged in the following situations: a. If the Primary Contractor is unable to complete the requested repair/replacement work within the timeframe specified by the City, b. If the City deems the proposal submitted by the Primary Contractor for the requested repair/replacement work unreasonable in regard to price, timeframe or scope of services proposed, c. If the Primary Contractor is not fulfilling its obligations under the resulting agreement, or d. To obtain more competitive pricing for larger assignments. The City retains the right to request proposals for any repair/replacement work from both the Primary and the Secondary Contractor and award the project to the contractor that offers the lowest price and an acceptable solution, or to obtain services for work covered in this solicitation separately.
