Official description
The USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center has a requirement for the dredging of Pond 3 and one chlorine contact tank (concrete basin). The specific dredging includes, but not limited to the following: - Dredge entire pond to remove settlements, remove settlements from chlorine tank (leaf debris mostly). - Work will take place in the following county in West Virginia: Jefferson - Period of Performance is 60 days after notice to proceed is issued. - Request for Quotes (RFQ) 140G0126Q0241 will close September 04, 2026, at 10:00 am mountain time. - A site visit will be held on August 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (EST) CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. For site visit information please refer to FAR Clauses 52.236-27 Alt 1. If you are planning to attend, please email Adam Kotulka at (on the official posting) to provide you're the names who are going, and emails along with phone numbers no later than 24 hours before the site visit starts. - The NAICS Code is 237990. The size standard is $37.0 million. This acquisition will be 100% Small Business Set Aside. - The anticipated award date of the contract is September 11, 2026.
