Official description
Issued by COUNTIES - Grand County. Reference #GC10030. Grand County, Utah is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to perform pavement preservation and maintenance on approximately 10.5 miles of paved pathway within the following corridors:
Moab Canyon Corridor, Colorado River Corridor, and Lions Park perimeter pathway.
The work generally consists of crack sealing, wide-crack mastic repair, surface preparation, 2 applications of seal coat with a traction agent, and pavement striping. Pavement striping will encompass the entire pathway, concrete sections included (concrete section repair/refurbishment is not considered in the RFP).
The County's estimated seal-coat area is 800,000 square feet. The estimated quantities for crack sealant, mastic, and striping are provided for bidding and comparison purposes. Contractors shall verify existing conditions and quantities during their site inspection.
The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, traffic control, cleanup, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with this Scope of Work.
All proposed prices shall be Not-to-Exceed amounts for completion of the entire project.
