Gyro spin-up gas generator procurement

NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Pre-Solicitation in support of the CAD/PAD program office. The estimated award date is approximately Mar 2027. The requirement is NOT set-aside for small businesses. This will be competitive between Rockwell Collines, Inc.; CAGE Code 13499 and Chemring Energetic Devices, Inc.; CAGE Code: 93455. The proposed solicitation is anticipated to be made available through the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE) <https://www.sam.gov>, on approximately October 08, 2026. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement contract the firm listed. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Qualification package is required for those contractors who are not qualified (See RFO 52.209-1). Unless determined to be in the Government's best interest, award of this anticipated contract shall not be delayed to permit an offeror to submit evidence of qualification.
