Solicitation #2024-RFP-182. Issued by Support Services > Facilities. Smith County Emergency Services District No. 2 ("the District") is requesting proposals for the construction of a 60-foot long by 40-foot wide by 18-foot tall tube steel building at the site of Jamestown Fire Station No. 76, located at 24971 County Road 453, Mineola, Texas 75773. The building will be installed on an existing concrete slab previously prepared as part of the station’s site development. This structure will serve as a temporary apparatus bay to house firefighting equipment and vehicles, supporting the operational readiness of Station No. 76 during its interim phase. The District seeks qualified contractors capable of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the construction of the building in accordance with all applicable building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Contractors must ensure the structure is durable, functional, and able to meet the demanding needs of a working fire station environment.
