Official description

Reference #27-0015. Department: Planning & Development Services. Description: The intent of this solicitation is for qualified, and experienced, pesticide applicator firms or individuals to establish an annual requirement contract for mosquito control services. Services are inclusive of mosquito surveillance, trap catch, or complaint based larviciding, targeted adulticide application, reporting, and record keeping. The Contractor shall be experienced and able to implement programs and services based on the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), and State of Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) guidelines for managing quality mosquito control programs.

The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this RFP electronically. If submitting a paper proposal, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late proposals will not be accepted.

The City of Arlington exclusively uses Bonfire for the notification and dissemination of all solicitations.
