Issued by Yeadon Borough, Delaware County. Sealed bids will be received electronically through PennBid™ by Yeadon Borough until 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on the 13th day of October 2026, for 2027 REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF RESIDENTIAL & MUNCIPAL TRASH & SINGLE STREAM RECYCLABLES at which time and place they will be opened, and the bid results posted on PennBid™. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
Contract period for Yeadon Borough shall be for the period starting January 1, 2027, and ending December 31, 2027. This contract may be extended for optional years 2 and 3 at the discretion of the Borough.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw their bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids. Project closes Oct 13, 2026 10:00 AM EDT.
