Water main replacement on Wynonah and Sioux drives

Issued by Plum Creek Municipal Authority, Schuylkill County. Sealed Bids will be received online by Plum Creek Municipal Authority until 11:00 AM local time on October 15, 2026. Online bids shall be submitted by way of the PennBid Program. Paper bids will not be accepted for this project. The work to be performed for the project includes supplying all labor, equipment, and materials for replacing water mains and services in the Lake Wynonah community. This includes installing approximately 1,475 linear feet of 6-inch water main on Wynonah Drive and approximately 1,130 linear feet of 4-inch water main on Sioux Drive. All water main is to be replaced with Class 52 ductile iron pipe. The Work must be substantially completed within ninety (120) days from the issue of the Notice to Proceed.

Each Proposal for the Project shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form provided by the Contract Documents, drawn to the order of the Plum Creek Municipal Authority, and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the extended Bid Amount, as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and the performance thereby properly secured.

Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012.

The Plum Creek Municipal Authority, Owner, hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept the Bid, which is in the best interest of the Authority, consistent with the laws affecting municipal contract awards.
