Columbia Borough sewer collection system rehabilitation

Issued by Lancaster Area Sewer Authority, Lancaster County. The work is generally defined as COLUMIBA BOROUGH COLLECTION SYSTEM REHABILITATION - 2026. The work is in Columbia Borough. The work will consist of the installation of cured-in-place lining in 50 sections of 8-inch and 10-inch diameter sewer main totaling 10,719 feet and the reinstatement of 216 active sewer connections at the locations as identified in the project manual. The Owner is the LANCASTER AREA SEWER AUTHORITY, 130 CENTERVILLE ROAD LANCASTER PA 17603, Telephone (on the official posting). All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted via PennBid. No questions will be accepted by phone, fax or direct e-mail. Online sealed bids for the construction will be received by the Lancaster Area Sewer Authority via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) until October 21, 2026 at 11:00 am prevailing time at which time and place, said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 am prevailing time, October 8, 2026, at the office of the Authority at 130 Centerville Road, Lancaster, PA 17603. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at no cost at www.PennBid.net. Each Bid must be accompanied by a scan of the Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check or Bid bond (in the required form) for 10% of the Bid total. The lowest responsible bidder shall submit the actual Bid Security to the Authority within three (3) business days after bid opening. The Lancaster Area Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all Bids and waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid.
