Ellwood and Vigne Pump Station Rehabilitation

Issued by Kennedy Township, Allegheny County. Notice is hereby given that The Kennedy Township will utilize electronic bidding to receive sealed bids for Ellwood and Vigne Pump Station Replacement project. Sealed bids must be submitted online through the PennBid electronic procurement program prior to 10/05/2026 at 10:00 AM EST, at which time they will be opened and read aloud at the offices of Remington & Vernick Engineers at 105 Braunlich Drive, Suite 100, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Work consists generally of the rehabilitation and replacement of two (2) existing sanitary sewer pump stations in Kennedy Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Work includes demolition of existing equipment and structures; furnishing and installing new submersible grinder pumps and vertical pedestal chopper pumps; new wet well construction; new VFD control panels; magnetic flow meters; SCADA telemetry system; bypass pumping; and all associated electrical, control, and site restoration work. All work shall be completed within 120 Calendar Days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Project closes Oct 05, 2026 10:00 AM EDT.
