Sanitary and storm sewer rehabilitation project

Issued by Hanover Township, Lehigh County. Hanover Township (“Owner) will receive sealed bids for the 2026 Sanitary Sewer and Storm Sewer Rehabilitation Project (Contract “A”-Sanitary Sewer Main CIPP Lining, Marcon Blvd., Airport Road and Willowbrook Road Easement; Contract “B”-Sanitary Sewer Manhole Epoxy Lining, Marcon Blvd., Airport Road and Willowbrook Road Easement; Contract “C”-Storm Sewer Pipe CIPP Lining, Lloyd Street) within the Township. The work will include rehabilitation of approximately 3,210 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer main via cured-in-place pipe lining, the rehabilitation of approximately 1,040 linear feet of 10”-18” storm sewer and 125 vertical feet of full-depth sanitary sewer manhole lining. Bids will be received online via PennBid until 2:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 and will be unsealed and read aloud at 7:00 p.m. (prevailing time), the same day, at the Hanover Township Municipal Building, 2202 Grove Road, Allentown, PA 18109. Bids results will be made available on PennBid after bid opening/review by Owner.

The bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to the Owner in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Article 6.01 of the General Conditions. The successful bidder must furnish Performance, Payment Bonds and Insurance per Contract meeting the requirements of Article 6 of the General Conditions.

The Project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and compliance with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Public Works Employee Verification Act.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids/proposals if, in their judgement, is not in the best interests of the Township. No Bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above and if not submitted through the PennBid system. Project closes Oct 21, 2026 2:00 PM EDT.
