Solicitation number 36C24426Q0703 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for temporary housing for up to three (3) homeless Veterans per day. The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), requires a contractor to provide residential placement as part of the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program, in accordance with Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Handbook 1162.09. The goal of the HCHV program is to remove homeless Veterans from the street or habitation unfit for Veterans and place them in community-based, residential environments with sufficient therapeutic services to meet the needs of those Veterans. Butler VAMC is seeking to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contractor must be capable of meeting all requirements in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in Section B. The contractor facility shall be within ten (10) miles of Butler VAMC located at 353 North Duffy Rd, Butler, PA 16001. This RFQ will result in the award of a five (5) year Firm Fixed Price IDIQ. Quotes shall include pricing that represents the vendors best offer and discounts. All pricing is final. Vendors should consider that requests for price adjustment, other than for wage increases due to Wage Determination, will be denied. Pricing structures should include the vendors adjustments for normal economic inflation for the entirety of the five (5) year ordering period.
