Issued by Life Remembered, Multi-State. Introduction:

Since 1956, Life Remembered has been serving communities throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, South Carolina, and North Carolina across our 26 cemeteries. We are a family's trusted guide for end-of-life planning, bringing compassion, dignity, and perpetual care to every family we serve.

In our efforts to continue to provide exceptional care and maintenance for our cemeteries, we are seeking Requests for Quote for the maintenance of our cemetery grounds from like-minded companies who focus on delivering quality services.

Location of Services:

Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, South Carolina, and North Carolina. All parks are identified on the "Bid Table" within the project.

Summary Maintenance Service Requirements: • Regular weekly mowing, biweekly trimming, and edging. • Edging of cemetery structures (pathways, markers, benches, fences, etc.) • Develop and maintain the schedule and landscaping plan. • Provide necessary equipment and supplies. • Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor. • Treat the cemetery grounds and visitors with respect.

Detailed Maintenance Service Requirements:

Lawn Care: • Mowing: Mow lawns regularly, maintaining a consistent height of 3-4 inches. Adjust mowing frequency based on seasonal growth. • Edging: Edge along walkways, monuments, and flower beds regularly to maintain clean lines. • Trimming: Trim around monuments, trees, and shrubs, ensuring no damage to structures. • Trimming Clean-up - Blow grass clippings off grave markers

Monument and Memorial Care: • Avoid damaging monuments and memorials during landscaping operations. • Report any damaged monuments to Life Remembered immediately. • Do not remove or alter any decorations placed by families without permission.

Seasonal Maintenance:

Spring: No Later than ten (10) days prior to Easter: • Clean up winter debris as a part of early seasonal mowing.

Summer: • Maintain consistent mowing and trimming schedules.

Fall/Winter: No later than November 1: • Remove fallen leaves and perform fall cleanup as a part of late season mowing.

Safety Procedures • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hat, high visibility harness and steel/composite toe boots. • Use equipment and tools safely and according to manufacturer instructions. • Be aware of underground utilities and avoid digging in unmarked areas. • Provide proper signage when work is being performed. • Be aware of visitors and give them the right-of-way. • Follow all applicable OSHA regulations.

Evaluation Criteria: Based on Request for Quote submissions we will promptly evaluate service provider for capability to deliver exceptional services at a price point that is reasonable for both parties.

Proposal Submission: Please see the cemetery listing in the "Bid Table" for the parks you are interested in quoting a price. After a thorough review of the business requirements, please submit your proposal identifying annual fixed fee pricing, which will be billed to Life Remembered evenly over an 8-month period (Mid-March – Mid-November).
