Official description

The Yew Avenue Wastewater Lift Station Improvements Project consists of constructing upgrades to the City’s existing wastewater lift station to improve electrical reliability, provide standalone backup power, and support future operational and capacity needs. Work includes installing a new outdoor-rated control cabinet with updated pump controls and instrumentation, adding a new generator system with automatic transfer capability, and expanding the lift station site to accommodate the upgraded electrical equipment and improved access. Additional work includes minor mechanical and electrical improvements and complete site restoration. All improvements shall comply with current Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) wastewater pump station design standards and applicable electrical and safety codes. The City estimates the cost of improvements at $450,000. All workmanship, materials, and conditions shall conform to applicable construction codes, specifications included on plans, any special provisions included in these documents, issued addendums, the General Conditions, Special Provisions, Redmond Standards & Specifications 2024 and any Supplementary Conditions.
