THIS IS NOT A COMPETITIVE BID The County of Ontario intends to recommend the issuance of a Sole Source award to Nuvonic for UV lamps, ballasts and wiper appurtenances parts for Nuvonic UV system Any purchase order resulting from this proposed sole source will be made in accordance with the laws governing the purchasing processes of the County of Ontario. Any responses received as a result of this Notice of Intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes. The Purchasing Department has received a request to make the following sole-source procurement: Requesting Department/Office: Department of Public Works Product and/or services to be purchased: UV lamps, ballasts and wiper appurtenances parts for Nuvonic UV system Anticipated Cost: $25,000 Sole Source Justification: Nuvonic is the only OEM Sole Source Distributor and Service Provider in North America for Hanovia, Berson, Aquionics and Nuvonic Ultraviolet systems and genuine OEM replacement parts.
