Official description
Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA), operator of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is soliciting offers from qualified small business contractors for Mechanical Services under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). The Contractor shall provide all labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and other resources necessary to perform a variety of mechanical construction work on various projects throughout the BNL site. Scope will be authorized through individual Task Orders (TOs) placed under the BOA. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. MANDATORY SOLICITATION EVENTS Mandatory Virtual Solicitation Overview Meeting: October 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET Mandatory Site Visit: October 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET RSVP Deadline for both events: October 9, 2026 Interested Offerors must RSVP to the Contractual Representative identified below. A Microsoft Teams meeting notice will be provided for the Virtual Solicitation Overview Meeting. Site visit instructions will be provided to Offerors who RSVP. Attendance at both the Virtual Solicitation Overview Meeting and Site Visit is mandatory. SOLICITATION SCHEDULE Questions Due: October 21, 2026 by 5:00 PM ET Offers Due: October 30, 2026 by 4:00 PM ET Anticipated Award: November 2026 Offerors shall review the Solicitation and all enclosures and attachments for complete technical, qualification, pricing, safety, bonding, insurance, wage determination, and contractual requirements. To be considered responsive, an Offeror must submit: A compliant Qualification Criteria Form (Enclosure 2) and supporting documentation; Sample Project Pricing Sheet (Enclosure 3); and Schedule of Unit Rates (Enclosure 1, Attachment 3).
