Reference #26-052. Description: Wake County through a competitive grant process will fund eligible capital investments to create or renovate a quality medical respite facility for individuals who are experiencing unsheltered homelessness. Medical respite provides short-term housing combined with residential care (meals, personal care, wellness services, wound care, medication management, medical appointment transportation, etc.) for individuals who are too frail for the streets but do not require acute hospital care. The Project closes Oct 08, 2026 3:00 PM EDT.
