Description: The City of Charlotte (“City”) is soliciting proposals from qualified Companies and Businesses (“Contractor”), with proven experience and expertise, to submit a response to the requirements outlined in this RFP and a proposal for a Red-Light Camera System for the Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT). The City of Charlotte wishes to reduce serious and fatal crashes in the city by targeting specific intersections with automated red light camera enforcement solutions as a companion to the City’s Vision Zero Program. The City of Charlotte previously operated a successful red-light camera program that ended in 2009. Project closes Oct 30, 2026 3:00 PM EDT.
