Issued by Facilities. The City of Ellsworth is seeking proposals for Pump Station Point Roof Replacement. Proposals are to be submitted through the Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/ellsworthmaine, no later than 5:00 pm, on Monday, October 19, 2026. The City of Ellsworth is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced roofing contractors for the replacement of the existing asphalt shingle roof at the City’s Pump Station Point facility. The project generally consists of removal and replacement of the existing roofing system, installation of new roof sheathing or an appropriate sheathing overlay, installation of a new asphalt shingle roofing system, associated flashing and roof penetration work, fascia and soffit repairs, and complete site cleanup. The City is seeking a contractor capable of providing a complete, durable, weather-resistant roofing system appropriate for the building and site conditions. The selected contractor shall be responsible for: Providing all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and incidental items necessary to complete the project; Obtaining any permits required for the work; Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements; Maintaining appropriate safety practices throughout the project; Protecting City property and adjacent areas; Coordinating access to the site with the City; Properly disposing of construction debris; Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage; Providing manufacturer and workmanship warranty information; and Completing all work in accordance with the approved proposal and contract.
