TALBOT COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE oT INVITATION TO BIDDERS TITLE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - RESODDING OF BACK 9 CHAMPIONSHIP GREENS — HOG NECK GOLF COURSE, 10029 OCEAN GATEWAY - EASTON, TALBOT COUNTY, MARYLAND BID NO.: 26-19 Sealed Bids for this project shall be accepted by the County Council of Talbot County, Courthouse, 11 N. Washington Street, Easton, Maryland, 21601 until 9:00 a.m. local time on Friday, November 6, 2026, at which time they shall be opened and read aloud. E-mailed or faxed bids will not be accepted. Incomplete or untimely bids shall not be considered. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that their bid proposal is complete and submitted in a timely manner. The County assumes no responsibility to notify bidders of incomplete or untimely bids. The Scope of Work consists of the removal of existing grass on greens, collars and a buffer area around the collar of tall fescue. The debris will be disposed of on site. Plans, Specifications and Other Contract Documents may be obtained from Owen Sutherland, Golf Course Superintendent, 10029 Ocean Gateway, Easton, Maryland 21601, (on the official posting) or (on the official posting). Partial sets of the Construction and Bid Submission Documents will not be available from the issuing office. Owner shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Construction and Bid Submission Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the issuing office. Bids will not be accepted from bidders who have not registered and obtained the full set of Construction and Bid Submission Documents. Bid security shall be furnished as stipulated in the project Specifications, Information for Bidders. The County Council of Talbot County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid, or portions thereof, when in their judgment, the public will be better served.
