IFB: Invitation for Bid. Issued by Maryland Transit Administration. Category: Pipe piping and pipe fittings. This Contract is for the demolition of the existing fiberglass piping system and installation of a new storm water piping system at the Charles Center dewatering pumping station. Work includes replacement of horizontal fiberglass discharge piping with ductile iron, replacing existing fittings such as valves with the new fittings and installation of a water hammer arrestor and tie into the existing fiberglass pipe at the temporary pump connection.
