Patuxent Branch Trail Improvements Construction

Howard County intends to procure the services of a single construction firm to construct improvements to the approximately 1.3 mile long existing gravel trail. The project includes, but is not limited to, construction of asphalt pathway and roadway, traffic signals and signage, park amenities, storm drain improvements, stormwater management features, timber bridge upgrades, environmental compliance, maintenance of traffic, tree preservation and site restoration work. This project is in SHA Cost Group “D”. Each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy of a bid bond OR certified check, in the amount of 5% of the total bid, made payable to the “Director of Finance, Howard County”. For a certified check, the Contractor shall submit the original certified check to the Office of Procurement and Contract Administration PRIOR to the bid due date and time to be deemed responsive.
