Buildings, Parks, & Athletic Fields Grounds Maintenance Service

Solicitation #24-024. Issued by RPT - Parks & Grounds. The Board of Commissioners for Charles County are hereby requesting bids from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, supervision, material, tools, and equipment necessary to perform grounds maintenance services for County-owned buildings, parks, and school athletic field sites throughout Charles County. The County may elect to contract with more than one Contractor. The current sites to be serviced are comprised of the following: 23 County Buildings and Parks 28 School Athletic Fields The County has a 30+ year partnership with Charles County Board of Education elementary and middle school sites to have enough fields for the Parks sports leagues. They are mostly used for practice sites at this time, but heavily relied on for game sites in past years. This partnership has proven to be an important benefit for both parties.
