Solicitation #24-023. Issued by PGM - Infrastructure. The Charles County Department of Planning and Growth Management is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to survey, design, and prepare Bid Documents for the construction of a 13,400-feet extension of a 16-inch public water main along the Cross County Connector, from Middletown Road to Bensville Road. The purpose of this project is to interconnect several communities in the Bensville area served by a single water distribution main. This loop will provide the necessary redundancy to the Brookwood, Linden Grove, Brentwood, Kingsview, and Highgrove neighborhoods, and increase the water system reliability.
