Official description
Solicitation #24-004. Issued by ES - Emergency Services. Charles County, MD is in the process of upgrading their Public Safety Land Mobile Radio (LMR) communications system to a new P25 platform including the construction of three (3) new tower sites, and colocation at five (5) existing sites. Two (2) of which are tower sites, and three (3) water tank sites. The sites will require new generator systems to provide emergency backup electrical power to sustain operations at the sites during loss of commercial power. The County is also upgrading/replacing the Generator Systems at two existing 9-1-1 communications tower sites.
