Solicitation #25-023. Issued by CS - Community Services. The County Commissioners of Charles County are hereby requesting proposals from qualified contractors to facilitate the Summer Youth Employment Program for a maximum of 40 opportunity young adults ages 16 -24 in Charles County, Maryland. The project aims to work with opportunity youth in Charles County. Opportunity youth are defined as youth and young adults ages 16-24, who are not in school and not working. The hope is to work with these youth and get them re-integrated into the community, obtain the necessary skills for gainful employment, and match the youth with a host site of their interest for Summer 2025. In turn, Host Sites will provide a meaningful and enriching work experience to support young adults in their future occupational endeavors and their success in the workforce. Host Sites will provide young adults with on-the-job training to support youth career development.
