Indian Head Manor Pump Station Improvements

Solicitation #25-010. Issued by DPW Utilities - Technical Support. The County Commissioners of Charles County are seeking bids from qualified contractors to demolish the existing below grade pump station. The work also includes the construction of a new submersible style pump station, install a 6-foot diameter wet well, above grade valve enclosure and electrical and instrumentation canopy which includes the following: a. Existing wet well and below grade pump station to be removed. Both below grade structures are approximately 15 feet deep. b. Excavation for the construction of the new submersible pump station. c. Temporary bypass pumping. d. Construct a new 6-foot diameter wet well that is approximately 15 feet below grade, which includes the pumps, discharge piping and level controls. e. Construct a new above grade valve enclosure that includes piping, valves, bypass connection, flow meter, HVAC equipment and instrumentation. f. Construct an electrical and instrumentation canopy. g. Install new yard piping, influent manhole with slide gate and connect into existing utilities.
