Underground conduit and fiber optic cable installation

INVITATION TO BID RFP# CCDIT2026-01

The County Commissioners of Caroline County, on behalf of the Caroline County Department of Technology, are accepting contractor bids for the Conduit and Fiber Optic Cable Installation at North County DES Stations. Work is generally described as follows: Installation of approximately two thousand two hundred (2,200) feet of one and one quarter (1.25) inch underground conduit with accompanying twelve (12) count fiber-optic cable. T his proposal is for the underground installation and supply of 1 1/4” (inch) SDR HDPE conduit, including all necessary vaults, and pulling twelve (12) strands of County supplied fiber optic cable with vendor supplied 10 AWG solid core, continuous bond tracer wire along four (4) separate routes in northern Caroline County. All routes are in Ridgely, MD, Greensboro, MD and Goldsboro, MD. All routes will include installation of conduit, fiber, tracer wire, and necessary vaults. A Google Earth (.kmz) file will be provided to show approximate installation locations.
