Official description

Solicitation #RFQ-426-26-JM. Issued by Public Utilities. The City of Hollywood has taken a major step forward in shaping the future of its water and wastewater systems. With the successful approval and adoption of the Water & Wastewater Master Plan (WWWMP) by the City Commission, the City is now launching an exciting new phase: bringing the plan to life. This RFQ seeks a dynamic Water and Wastewater Program Management team to lead the implementation of the WWWMP and support the ongoing operation and maintenance of the City’s water and wastewater treatment system. The selected firm will guide a wide spectrum of engineering responsibilities—planning projects, conducting studies, securing approvals, coordinating with consultants and contractors, managing permitting, overseeing design and construction, and serving as the City’s representative in public meetings and community outreach. In short, this team will help turn long-term infrastructure goals into tangible results. During the WWWMP Implementation Workshop, the City laid out an ambitious roadmap of major capital projects, urgent interim improvements, and critical renewal and replacement needs. These projects—scheduled from 2026 through 2035—represent a transformative investment in Hollywood’s water and wastewater future, ensuring reliable service, regulatory compliance, and resilient infrastructure for decades to come.
