Solicitation #26-023. Issued by Parks and Recreation. The City of Dania Beach is soliciting bids for Chester Byrd Park Improvements. Bids are to be submitted via the City's e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/daniabeachfl. Bids will be received prior to 10:00 am on Thursday, October 8, 2026. Late bids will not be accepted. This project involves upgrading Chester Byrd Park with new recreational amenities and improved infrastructure. Work includes removing existing park features, installing a new playground, fitness area, picnic space, and basketball court, as well as constructing ADA‑compliant sidewalks, parking improvements, utility upgrades, lighting infrastructure, and landscaping. The project is partially funded through a FRDAP grant, requiring compliance with all State and Federal conditions in Grant Agreement No. P25011.
