Solicitation #2026-RFP-333. Issued by Sustainability. The City of Golden is seeking proposals for Waste Diversion Outreach, Education & Engagement to support implementation of several waste reduction, recycling, and diversion initiatives through strategic education, outreach, engagement and related program support. The selected consultant will help the City communicate effectively with residents, businesses, property owners, and other stakeholders as Golden advances several waste reduction initiatives, including implementation of its Universal Recycling Ordinance, expansion of organics recycling, and development of a downtown waste district. The City is seeking a qualified and creative consultant or team with experience translating complex sustainability or solid waste programs into clear, actionable communications and engagement strategies. The work will include development of outreach approaches and materials, stakeholder engagement, data collection and evaluation, and other implementation support described in the Scope of Work. Proposals are due no later than 11:55 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Proposals and Questions must be submitted through the E-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cityofgolden.
