Reference #RFP-312-26. Description: The Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (BCPOS) is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to support the development of an overarching, county-wide planning framework to provide context and sideboards: • to support the development of an overarching, county-wide planning framework • to provide context and sideboards to support the development of a district-level planning framework • to apply these frameworks to the development of a district-level management plan for the Peak to Peak District, the pilot area for Boulder County’s proposed transition from site-level to landscape-scale district planning.

The consultant will work alongside BCPOS staff to help deliver a comprehensive, equitable, and resource-aligned district planning process and Peak to Peak District Management Plan, expected to be completed within an 18-month timeframe. The district-level planning framework will subsequently be replicated, improved upon based on lessons learned, and applied to other districts by BCPOS staff.
