All dates stated and configured for this project are currently placeholders only, and will be updated once the procurement has been officially released.
MTC and ABAG are jointly responsible for preparing a long-range regional plan for the nine-county Bay Area in order to satisfy federal and state planning requirements. The current long-range plan is entitled Plan Bay Area 2060+ and was adopted by MTC and ABAG in March 2026.
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission is seeking to hire a consultant to provide technical services to support development of the Regional Growth Forecast for Plan Bay Area 2060, the Bay Area’s long-range regional plan for transportation, housing, and the environment. The Project is expected to begin on January 1, 2027, and be completed by March 31, 2029. Project closes Oct 28, 2026 4:00 PM PDT.
