Description: The Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA) intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the design, installation, commission, and operation and maintenance of a new roadside toll collection system at the seven State-owned Toll Bridges in the San Francisco Bay Area. Operations and maintenance is planned through June 30, 2037 with options to extend up to eight additional years. The procurement is expected to be released sometime later this summer or early fall. Project closes Oct 30, 2026 5:00 PM PDT.
