Official description
Solicitation #B46-103. Issued by Montgomery County Parks. This project is for the construction of a ten-feet wide, shared use path within the North Branch of Rock Creek Stream Valley Park. Beginning at the southeast end of Lake Frank and extending in a northeasterly direction to MD 115, Muncaster Mill Road, where the project will meet the Emory Lane Trail. A second section connects the end of the paved portion of Rock Creek Trail to the MD 200 Trail, for a combined length of 2.2 miles. The project includes grading and excavation, sediment and erosion control, demolition of excess pavement, storm drain construction, stormwater management construction, bituminous paving, micro-piles installation, elevated concrete trail and bridge installation, and associated construction elements.
