Public Notice. Agency solicitation #BB-3023-0000. Issued by Maryland Transportation Authority. Category: BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION AND REPAIR SERVICE. MDTA has developed a plan to install protection to the piers closest to the main navigation spans that accommodate inbound and outbound vessel traffic. The initial Project scope includes the installation of structures to protect the four towers supporting the main spans of the Eastbound and Westbound Bay Bridges. The project development utilizes the design-build contracting method and the “Competitive Sealed Proposals” procurement method. The Project may result in having a scope in the final design containing a different type, size, and number of protection based on the proposals received.
