Standard specifications and details update for roads and utilities

Public Notice. Issued by Worcester County Government. Category: Professional engineering services. Worcester County is seeking professional engineering consulting services to develop a coordinated, updated set of technical specifications and standard construction details (“standards’) for Roads, Water and Wastewater, and additional identified infrastructure categories. The resulting Specifications and Standard Details will be formatted and coordinated for use as the County’s design and construction reference. Proposal Documents for the above referenced project may be obtained from the Worcester County Commissioner’s Office by either e-mailing the Procurement Officer at [email protected] or via the County’s on-line bid board. Vendors are responsible for checking the County website for addenda prior to submitting their bids. Worcester County is not responsible for the content of any Proposal Document received through any third-party bid service. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure the completeness and accuracy of their Completed Proposal Documents. The last date/time to submit questions for clarification will be noon on September 25, 2026. Sealed Proposal Documents are due no later than October 8, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. and will be opened and only vendor names will be read aloud in the Office of the County Commissioners, Worcester County Government Center – Room 1103, One West Market Street, Snow Hill, MD 21863. Late Proposal Documents cannot be accepted. Envelopes shall be marked “Standard Specifications & Details Update and Development” in the lower left-hand corner.
