Public Notice. Agency solicitation #1-26-2-66-5R. Issued by Maryland Environmental Service - Procurement Division. Category: Sludge or sewage removal equipment. PURPOSE: The Maryland Environmental Service is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified Contractors to provide sludge hauling to four facilities in the Washington and Frederick Counties operated by MES. The four facilities are located at the following: Albert Powell Fish Hatchery WWTP, 20901 Fish Hatchery Road, Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland (located near the intersection of Maryland Route 66 and Interstate 70) Foxville Gardens WWTP, Sabillasville, Frederick County, Maryland 21780 (located near the intersection of Manahan Road and Foxville Deerfield Road) I-70 Rest Stop WWTP, I-70 Eastbound, South Mountain, Frederick County, Maryland 21773 Town of Myersville WWTP, Milt Summers Road, Frederick County, Myersville, Maryland 21773 NOTE: MES will only accept Electronic Bids on MES Procurement Portal ( https://menv.bonfirehub.com/ ). Mailed, Emailed, Faxed, or Hand Delivered (paper) bids will not be accepted. Requested Information on the MES Procurement Portal must be submitted on or before the bid due date, Submission option will not be available after the bid due date. Bidders may follow-up with the procurement department [email protected] to determine if their Bids were received on time. Conditioning a bid or proposal or any other MES solicitation or bidding document will deem your bid or proposal non-responsive and not be accepted COMAR 21.05.02.22 Bids will be opened electronically in public at the date and time specified in the solicitation.
