Supplemental push snow plow-only services for winter operations

Prince George’s County (“County”) requires supplemental push snow services, consisting of mechanical snow plowing only, to augment County-owned resources during winter weather events. This contract is one component of the County’s integrated winter operations program, which separates snow removal functions across multiple contract vehicles to maximize operational control, environmental compliance, and resource deployment flexibility. This is a plow-only contract subject to an important scope limitation. Material application services including de-icing, anti-icing, salting, sanding, and brine operations are procured and managed under separate County contracts and are expressly outside the scope of this contract. This contract is strictly limited to mechanical snow removal through vehicle-mounted plows and approved snow-pushing equipment. The objective of this contract is to increase plowing throughput, improve route completion times during major storm events, and ensure continuity of mechanical snow removal operations through scalable, contractor-provided resources. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, fuel, maintenance, and incidentals necessary to perform continuous mechanical push snow operations on County-assigned routes, facilities, or locations as directed. This contract is for push snow (plow-only) services exclusively. Please note that this is a Continuous Open Solicitation for push snow services. The Solicitation will remain open and continuously accept submissions from the date of issuance through February 28, 2027 , or until canceled earlier by Prince George’s County (“the County”), whichever occurs first. The County's award of multiple contracts under this Solicitation shall not close the Solicitation, and the County reserves the right to continue accepting submissions, to continue evaluating submissions, and to make additional awards throughout the duration of the Solicitation. WEEKLY SUBMISSION CUTOFF AND EVALUATION CYCLE Submissions will be evaluated on a weekly basis. Each weekly evaluation cycle closes at 4:00 PM local time on Wednesday (the "Weekly Cutoff"). Submissions received at or before the Weekly Cutoff will be evaluated in that week's cycle. Submissions received after the Weekly Cutoff will be held and evaluated in the next week's cycle.
