Full-depth road reclamation with cement treatment

Solicitation #IFB B-25-001. Issued by Department Public Works. The project generally consists of full-depth reclamation (FDR) with cement, including but not limited to, pulverizing both existing concrete and asphalt roadway material uniformly to a minimum designated depth, place new material where required and uniformly mix, place water and cement thoroughly mix, spread and grade properly proper grade, compact and all associated activities to complete the work. Project sites are located at various locations throughout Cecil County in the three Road Division Areas; Northern, Central, and Southern. Please refer to attached map showing the limits of each area. The Roads Division will provide the contractor with cement content for each road reclaimed to ensure the appropriate strengths of the reclaimed section are achieved. It is estimated the dry unit weight of Portland cement content will be in the range of 3% to 5% to achieve the required reclaimed strengths for the type of pavement and soils encountered within the County.
