Official description
Solicitation #RFP 26-010. Issued by Sheriff's Office. The Cecil County Detention Center Medication Supported Recovery (DC-MSR) project aims to expand access to treatment services for individuals with an Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) with emphasis on continuity of care and reduced overdose incidents. The Project will identify individuals with OUD and offer Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), as well as re-entry planning, peer support, coordination, and counseling. The program will build on successful collaborations and ongoing cooperation between partner agencies and stakeholders, including the Cecil County Detention Center (CCDC), Inmate Medical Provider (TBD), the Cecil County Health Department (CCHD), and local behavioral health treatment providers. The project aims to reduce gaps in services for individuals at risk of overdose and provide linkages to community-based services post incarceration.
